Highlights – Senators took an early lead on a third-inning homer by light-hitting infielder Stephen Perez … each team notched a single tally in the fourth … Altoona finally tied it with a run in the bottom of the seventh … Senators won it in the 12th with RBI hits by Wilmer Difo and Andrew Stevenson … Curve outfielder Barrett Barnes was a HR short of hitting for the cycle
 
Other – No DH, since two National League teams were playing … Harrisburg starter Phillips Valdez walked 6 and didn’t make it through the fourth inning … a couple of light showers in the late innings … post-game fireworks went off as planned despite the long game
