This coming December, Philadelphia radio station WXPN will
be counting down the “885 Greatest Songs by
Women”, as voted by its listeners. Naturally I had to chime in. Each of us
could submit up to 10 songs – I had an extremely difficult time narrowing my
list down from at least 25 favorites. I don’t know whether any of my songs will
make the countdown, although a number of the artists certainly will.
