Jay Black
Jay & The Americans – definitely a guilty pleasure! Jay
Black (born David Blatt) was actually the group’s second “Jay”, although he
wound up singing lead on nearly all of their hits.
Fun fact – Walter Becker and Donald Fagen played in their touring
band for a while, before becoming better known as Steely
Dan.
