Can your car make animal sounds? Do you want it to?
I’m driving along wishing my car
were white and chatting with myself when Miss Prissy Pants interrupts to say
she can’t help me with “that” right now. “I’m not talking to you,” I say, and
she responds, “I’m sorry, could you repeat that, please?” “I’m not talking to
you, dadgummit!”
“I’m afraid I’ll need more
information to help you with that,” she says, “but did you know that I can make
animal sounds? Ask me what sound a dog makes.” Seriously? Of course, I did. And
she did. Bark like a dog. She can do elephants, giraffes and cats, too. I
stopped there.

13 THE SUN AIN’T GONNA SHINE (Anymore) –The Walker Brothers
14 EIGHT MILES HIGH –The Byrds
Quite a list of songs!
THE SUN AIN’T GONNA SHINE (Anymore) is one of my all-time favorites https://ramblingrhoads.blogspot.com/2016/09/126-sun-aint-gonna-shine-anymore-walker.html
DeleteOTOH, I would be perfectly happy if I never heard Groovy Kind of Love again (either version).
Written by Carole Sager!
DeleteWell, upon further research, it turns out that I would be happy to go without any of her material, with the exception of On My Own and an obscure 1991 Aretha Franklin track (Ever Changing Times, which also happens to feature Michael McDonald).
DeleteFor the record, The Sun AIn't Gonna Shine Anymore is on my top 10 of '66 and the Walker Brothers are a highly underrated group from that era.
DeleteI completely agree!
